Guys... there is a spam thread now, I thought this was for poetry and comments on it, not asking if you're dumb (which, by the way, you are...)
Lets try this on for size, I've been thinking on this one all day...
Have you ever watched a storm roll in across the ocean? Perhaps the river would have to do. She brought acrid red wine and white plastic cups. This moment was the last as I knew her. This was the night she intrigued me the most, lingering on the rocks, watching the storm roll in, waiting for him to roll out. Montana called her tomorrow, but I called her tonight, away from the river and into the reach. The field was soaked in rain and lightning, our earnest excess of energy. Or maybe it was the wine. But St. Christopher had carried us there, directly below the heavens that bellowed so wildly. Rain kissed our skin softly, and we mimicked its tranquility. I watched as the storm rolled in and you rolled away, fading into nothing but these: the letters and poems you never read.

This is in my Sig on the TG forums...
I'm that star up in the sky, I'm that mountain peak up high, Give me strength enough to see, Life can lead you right to me, You can love, you can hate, Just don't be one to call it fate.
I'm writing another poem as well, it's a work in progress, but i dont want it to suck like every other poem, including the 1 above, did.

Malkris it's good to see another poem from u, i really like ur work. U have this old english like romantic style that is really nice.. I got no change in beating u at that lolz.. my vocabolary is way to slim So here's a poem more m-like anyways Rumours of shadows lurking from the west of a man that does never rest. He whos word is a double-edged sword he is the beggar, he is the lord. Summon him, call upon his name and thou shall fully feel shame. In the deepest forest he lurks around always an inch above ground. A gosth in your dreams, a shadow in your mind he is the only one of his kind. Be gratefull for that, as he passes you by a look from him makes the bravest cry. Yet another poem written directly into this forum. lolz hope it dosn't make the quality any lower, anyway let me kno what u think about it And Even.. a poem is a poem, nantucket or not. It still has a place in this poetry corner

well, desptie my double vision, i could read that firena, it's awesome... and if you think thats my style, maybe these will change your mind. I couldn't sleep last night, so i just wrote what i felt like:
The Enchantress The walls I built up all around me, Survived through the thick and the thin, These friends I brought so close to me Stuck by me through the worst. But one prevailed, Ripped down my walls, Sowed her seeds of dissent, Then left me broken in pieces. These tattered shards I took, Remoudled and born to a new shell, I built myself a new existence, All seemed as complete perfection. The walls stood strong against my demons, But they had a hidden weapon, All I can do is watch in horrow, Her spell brings yet again my end.
A lonely Heart I stand atop my towers, looking down on streets below, I'm searching for another half, yet my heart is full of woe. For my heart was once complete, joyous were we all, for much graciousness was shown, I would let noone fall. Yet eventually, this poison known as love, took it's toll upon my heart, it was simply torn, left rendered by the one it held so close. I can't control the anger, her fleeting voice fills in me, but the burning left inside of me, is the desire for her to be here. In my eyes, in my arms, here with me, where she said she should always be. Such is the pain in this broken heart, that I write this here for view, take heed and listen well, for this could easily be you.
Facade It's hard to live, Being something you're not, Feeling broken, Rejected, Anything is worth the shot.
Life gets better, Once you show who you are, No facades, Honestly, People will love you for who you are.
Don't fall into the trap, Of hiding the special person you are, It's dangerous, Decietful, And you'll only end up like me.
Inner Demons The feeling hiding deep down inside, That monster that lies deep within, Feels like it's rest is over, It's being released, This is not for love, But just a warning, Annoy me at your peril, For my hidden demons would destroy you...
